Mansionhouse Therapy Ltd runs this website. This page explains what happens to information you give us here. It does not cover your therapy itself: how we handle clinical records is explained to you before you begin working with us.
If you use the contact form or the booking request, your name, email address, phone number (if you add one) and message are sent to the practice so that we can reply. Please do not put clinical history in either form. That is for your session.
House, the chat assistant, is a script on the page. It does not store what you type and it is not a therapist. It gives website information and signposts crisis services; it does not assess, diagnose or triage.
We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly service that counts visits without cookies or tracking you across sites. The “Larger text” button saves your choice in your own browser.
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). To ask us, write to lynnie.r@hotmail.co.uk.
Sessions themselves are confidential within the usual clinical and legal limits.
